If you are a student or staff member of SOU, you are automatically registered to receive SOU Alerts using your SOU email account and the phone number given at registration (employees= work number). In case of a large emergency, this mass notification system will quickly send you an alert message. You can customize receiving these alerts through email, phone, cell phone, and text messages. Since you never know where you will be when an alert is sent, we recommend utilizing all of these venues.
